Panasonic has unveiled its new range of Wireless Video Intercom models, the VL-SW250BX and VL-SV30BX which bring advanced features and ease of operation which play a major role in enhancing home security today. The need for full-time security in every residential property has become important and essential due to the increasing crime rate and unsafe environment. In line with this, Panasonic has introduced these two models.
The VL-SW250BX priced at Rs.29,000, comes with a 5.2-inch colour monitor to deliver crisp and clear images with the ability of recording up to 400 pictures at a time. It also has a transfer calling facility that can be used as an ordinary phone plus a host of features for enhancing family communications. Its special voice changing feature enables answering unwanted visitors by changing one’s voice. Furthermore, it can record pictures even in the absence of a person, ensuring security of the house.
The VL-SV30BX priced at Rs.14,900 is a 3.5-inch LCD model which is great for enhancing family security and can be easily installed anywhere at home. It is enriched with a convenient base and hands-free talking ability with recording up to 30 different sessions. The device provides connection of two-door stations, thus supporting two electric locks.
In terms of value proposition, the Company is looking at targeting the premium segment with the introduction of these two models. Panasonic Video door phones give the liberty to speak and see the visitor without actually letting them in the house. Delivering on its promise of providing innovative products, the new models by the company allow users to check visitors on the monitor without opening the door and respond promptly from anywhere at home or if the user is doing something else, by a wireless handset.
