By VARINDIA - 2013-05-27
As per the latest update, Reliance Communications has raised basic rates for both GSM and CDMA pre-paid mobile-to-mobile calls. If reports are to be believed, the call rates have been increased by 33% to 2 Paise per second from 1.5 Paise per second.
After the cancellation of 122 second generation (2G) telecom licences by the Supreme Court on February 2, 2012, the mobile-to-mobile call rates by almost all subscribers have been increased by almost 100 per cent in the last two years.
However, it is difficult to anything confirmed as no spokesperson from RCom has commented when contacted.
