Salesforce.com Foundation launches Programmes in India

2 min read0 views

Salesforce.com, the enterprise cloud computing company, and Salesforce.com Foundation have collectively launched Salesforce.com Foundation’s programmes in India. The objective behind unveiling these programmes is to use salesforce.com’s people, technology and relationships to improve communities, inspire youth to be more successful and promote compassionate capitalism.

The Salesforce.com Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization that partners with salesforce.com, helping to leverage the resources of the company to make a positive impact on the communities in which it operates. Salesforces’ CRM licences have already been donated to 31 nonprofit organizations (NPOs) in India.  Salesforce CRM helps NPOs keep track of their supporters, volunteers and donors and increases their capability for managing, tracking and reporting against key programme data.

“The launch of the Salesforce.com Foundation is a significant milestone in salesforce.com’s development of its global presence,” said Lindsey Armstrong, Executive Vice-President, International Enterprise Sales, Salesforce.com. “We believe that you cannot be a leader in your industry without being a leader in your community. The Salesforce.com Foundation provides our Salesforce.com employees, partners and customers a unique way to actively contribute to the improvement of the communities we operate in.”

Since its inception, the Salesforce.com Foundation has used a unique 1/1/1 model of integrated philanthropy. The model ensures that as the Salesforce.com business grows in countries such as India, so will be its contribution to the local community.
