Samsung consolidates Itself in 3D Space

Consolidating its leadership in the Flat Panel TV market, Samsung Electronics has launched the world's slimmest Full HD 3D LED TV - Series 9000 in the Indian market. Samsung has launched the first 3D TVs for the Indian market in March this year, across LED, LCD and Plasma platforms.

Ravinder Zutshi, Deputy Managing Director, Samsung India, stated, "As a global market leader in colour televisions, we remain committed to being the first in deploying new categories of entertainment like Full HD 3D TVs for consumers in India as in other parts of the world. Samsung 3D TVs provide consumers with a completely immersive and comfortable home entertainment experience and based on the encouraging response that we have received from our Indian consumers, we are introducing our Flagship 9000 Series of Full HD 3D televisions in the Indian market today.

The Samsung 9000 series stands apart on account of its ultra-sleek 7.98mm thin form with a built-in tuner, its premium touch remote control with display "Touch Control" and its top-of-the- line performance and quality. It comes equipped with four HDMI ports, including a USB port to play various multimedia files directly from the flash drive or USB HDD.
With built-in Ethernet connection and wireless-ready capabilities, the 2010 Samsung 3D TV lineup is ready to meet the growing consumer demand for "content without borders". The upgraded Internet@TV feature now includes Samsung Apps with an expanded, easy-to- navigate selection of content and applications from leading services like The Associated Press, Blockbuster, Fashion TV, Netflix and YouTube, amongst others. Applications can be downloaded and viewed all while watching TV.

In addition to the launch, Samsung has also launched the attractive 3D LED TV Solution packages for consumers to provide them with ultimate 3D home entertainment in their homes.
