Corby TV phone duo with integrated broadband Mobile TV on the CDMA platform is India’s first-ever handset with integrated broadband mobile TV. The integrated customized TV solution for Corby TV has been developed by Samsung in association with Apalya Technologies Pvt. Ltd. MimobiTV Mobile TV service is a Unicast Video Streaming of Live TV/Recorded content where each handset gets a unique direct one–on-one TV content streaming on the Mobile network, through Unicast technology. With the availability of EVDO handsets like Corby TV, which support high-speed data, the possibility of a good quality of video streaming is immense thus contributing to the growth of the Mobile TV.

Corby TV has a large 2.8” QVGA vibrant TFT display and a highly optimized content bit rate which enables easy streaming and a seamless TV viewing experience. The intuitive full-touch experience of the Corby provides easy access to channel selection menu through one-touch widget on home screen. Corby TV supports Mobile TV streaming service in both CDMA 1X and EVDO 3G mobile networks. The handset is OMH enabled and supports all CDMA network providers who support EVDO service. Corby TV supports 40+ Live channels and 10+ Content on Demand channels enabling the user to watch their favourite channels even while they are mobile.

The Samsung Corby TV provides instant access to various social networking sites and has a mobile broadband capability up to 2.4 Mbps with 2 MP camera and video recording capabilities. The handset also offers 32 one-touch widgets, stereo FM radio, 2,000 phone book contacts and 1,000 SMS storage capability and supports 8GB Micro SD card. Corby TV also provides up to 60 minutes of voice recording, Bluetooth 2.0, an interesting youth user interface and active sync feature for push mail support.
