2025-10-07
Saviynt’s Bengaluru expansion underscores its commitment to boosting R&D in India, as the nation’s rapidly growing IAM market—valued at $184.8M in 2023—is projected to reach $583.9M by 2030 amid rising data protection priorities
Saviynt, a leader in AI-driven identity security and governance solutions, today announced the opening of its new 62,000-square-foot office in Bengaluru. Home to more than 650 employees, this will be its largest global innovation center, aiming to accelerate AI-based research and development in identity security as enterprises adopt cloud and AI technologies.
The expansion underlines Saviynt’s strategic commitment to increasing high-value R&D capacity in India at a time when the country’s identity and access management (IAM) sector is growing rapidly. According to industry data, India’s IAM market was valued at USD 184.8 million in 2023 and is projected to reach USD 583.9 million by 2030, reflecting strong demand. The enforcement of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act has further elevated identity and access governance from an IT concern to a boardroom priority.
Since its inception in 2024, IndiaAI Mission has fostered AI democratization and domestic innovation, and Saviynt’s new hub aligns with these national objectives by bolstering cybersecurity capabilities. From this Bengaluru location, teams have already delivered flagship solutions—such as Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM), Non-Human Identity safeguards, and AI-enhanced intelligence modules—that now protect Fortune 500 organizations globally. The hub will further integrate agentic AI and automation within Saviynt’s Identity Cloud platform to secure human and non-human identities and respond swiftly to evolving compliance challenges.
Speaking about the new facility, Paul Zolfaghari, President of Saviynt, said: “India is not just our largest international office, it is our global engine of innovation. With this new hub, we are not only expanding our footprint but also shaping the future of identity security by combining India’s deep talent pool with AI-driven product innovation. From Bengaluru, our teams are building solutions that protect Fortune 500 enterprises worldwide.”
Nitin Varma, SVP & MD, India & SAARC, Saviynt, added: “India is not just where we build, it’s where we lead from. Our Bengaluru Center powers global identity innovation, customer delivery, and business operations at scale. As Saviynt’s AI Center of Excellence for identity security, it brings world-class products closer to Indian enterprises while exporting innovation worldwide. Equally important, we are investing in India’s talent ecosystem, through partnerships with premier colleges and the Saviynt University program, ensuring India becomes the global hub for the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.”
As part of its long-term commitment to India’s cybersecurity talent pipeline, Saviynt will intensify partnerships with universities, expand campus recruitment, and scale its Saviynt University initiative, offering free training in identity security to early-career professionals and cultivating future leaders in cyber defense.
