Select Technologies is a true blue value-added distributor for Security and Storage Solutions in India. The company not only takes Security and Storage Solutions and offers them as a bouquet to the channel partners, but also enables the partners to sell and market the products. Towards this, Select conducts a number of training programmes for the channel partners. Apart from the regular programmes for the channel partners, there are two important programmes – rather, call them as events–– that Select does for the channel partners and customers. One is Rishtey and the other is eStorm.

Rishtey is an annual event for the channel partners, wherein the company takes most of its partners to an exotic location and calls the principals and makes them interact with each other. This year, Rishtey 2007, the theme of which was “FAME”, signifying Fortune, Attitude, Motivate and Excite, was organized in Colombo. Over 115 global storage and security partners from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Maldives participated in the event. Along with the principals like Cisco, RSA Security, Pointsec, SonicWALL, Check Point, Aventail, Websense, Crossbeam, ISS, EMC, Tandberg, BigFix and Secure Computing, Select Technologies organized this event.Â
On the other hand, eStorm is the event meant for customers. And, this time, it is expected that Select will also choose another overseas location for the customers.
