Sharon Pais to lead Myntra as its new Head
Flipkart Group announced a leadership transition at Myntra, appointing Sharon Pais as its new head, effective immediately. The move follows the decision of outgoing CEO Nandita Sinha to step down. Pais previously led the fashion category at Flipkart and also served as chief business officer at Myntra. She brings deep experience and a strong understanding of the business. Her appointment signals continuity as the company builds on its current momentum.
Meanwhile, Kapil Thirani will lead Flipkart Fashion and report to Sakait Chaudhary. The company will also initiate a search for a successor for the marketplace business.
Under Sharon Pais’ leadership, Myntra plans to scale its rapid commerce vertical M-Now and position it as a key growth driver. The service launched in November 2024 and delivers fashion and beauty products within 30 minutes to two hours. It competes with platforms such as Slikk, Knot, and Zilo.
M-Now is live in 10 cities and covers over 940 pin codes. It offers around 100,000 styles from more than 1,000 brands.
According to the company, Nandita Sinha will continue to support the transition over the coming months. During Nandita’s tenure, Myntra reported its first profitable fiscal year, with profit surging 18x to Rs 548 crore in FY25 from Rs 30 crore in FY24, while revenue rose 18% to Rs 6,042.7 crore.
