To retain the leadership position in this highly competitive e-commerce market space, the Delhi based company Snapdeal.com has planned to rope in 10 to 15 top level managerial personnel on its board.
By the end of this year, the company will be hiring personnel across critical functions, such as technology, operations, marketing and supply chain. They will not only come on board to be an integral part of the existing functions, but will also come to lead newer initiatives.
E-commerce business in India is booming and is poised to touch $30 billion by 2020. To shell out top dollars, Snapdeal is planning to align its board with the best talent pool.
With currently about 50, 000 sellers transacting on its platform, Snapdeal is eyeing a million sellers by the end of the next fiscal.
