SUSE has announced general availability of an enterprise-class private cloud infrastructure solution combining Dell hardware and services with SUSE software. The Dell SUSE Cloud Solution powered by OpenStack will allow organizations to deploy and manage open-source private clouds.
This joint solution will use SUSE Cloud as its cloud management reference platform, which is packaged for enterprise environments and integrated with SUSE maintenance and lifecycle management processes. Dell and SUSE tie-up will continue to actively contribute towards Crowbar's development, and its integration into SUSE Cloud will help customers rapidly build private clouds.
