The Technology Association of Information Technology (TAIT) concluded Savex Presents TAIT Tech Connect 2026, a two-day business and networking event that brought together more than 100 member companies and over 200 participants, including family members, at Hotel Fariyas in Khandala.
Held against the monsoon backdrop of the Western Ghats, the event brought together technology partners, distributors and industry stakeholders for business discussions, product demonstrations and networking. The programme also included activities designed to encourage family participation and strengthen relationships within the TAIT community.
The business sessions were anchored by TAIT Director Rushabh Shah, with participation from members and industry representatives. The event provided sponsors and technology brands with an opportunity to present their latest products, solutions and partner programmes to the TAIT member community.

Technology brands showcase new offerings
As the title sponsor, Savex Technologies delivered the keynote through Managing Director Jayant Goradia, who encouraged members to explore business opportunities beyond traditional models. He also highlighted Savex's transformation from a system integrator into a major technology distributor with a broad portfolio of brands and cybersecurity solutions.
HP, represented by Gaurav Jaitly, showcased its commercial portfolio and partner initiatives. The presentation covered HP's laptop range, product differentiators and expected pricing trends over the coming quarters.
Gala Dinner Sponsor NPAV presented its cybersecurity portfolio, with Sumeet Kela highlighting the company's Krypton range, its Make in India initiatives and international achievements. NPAV also announced exclusive offers for TAIT members during the event.
Meanwhile, j5create demonstrated its productivity-focused portfolio. Himanshu Gaglani showcased products including the Speech Tracker and Aero series, generating interaction and discussions among attendees.

Cybersecurity and networking solutions gain attention

Networking company D-Link showcased a broader portfolio covering networking equipment, PC accessories and mobile accessories. Sunit Gandhi highlighted several new products, while the company's exhibition booth attracted sustained interest from members throughout the event.
Lapcare, the Gifting Sponsor, presented monitors, projectors and accessories from its extensive portfolio. Amit demonstrated a selection of products from the company's range, giving members an opportunity to explore several offerings that they had not previously experienced.

Passport Scheme adds engagement to event
A specially created Passport Scheme encouraged members to visit participating exhibitors and interact with the brands. Eligible participants were rewarded with gifts from Lapcare, while Savex, j5create, Bitdefender, D-Link and NPAV also distributed giveaways during the programme.
The "Know Your TAIT Member" session provided another networking opportunity, helping participants introduce their businesses, identify common interests and explore potential business relationships with fellow members.
Family activities and entertainment complement business agenda
While the business programme remained central to the event, TAIT also organised activities for accompanying family members. Interactive sessions coordinated by Keyur Kapadia focused on participation, teamwork and entertainment, with prizes distributed across multiple activities.
Entertainment formed another key part of the programme, with a DJ Night and Gala Dinner on the opening evening followed by a musical evening on the second day. The celebrations continued late into the night, adding a social dimension to the two-day gathering.
Members seek annual continuation
The response from participants following the event was positive, with members appreciating the combination of business networking, technology showcases and family-oriented activities. Several participants also encouraged TAIT to establish TAIT Tech Connect as an annual event.
The event was organised under the leadership of TAIT Directors Parag Shah, Champak Gurjar, Swetal Dani, Samir Mehta, Janak Mehtalia, Jitendra Makwana, Nikesh Jain and Rushabh Shah.
The organising committee was supported by the TAIT office team, Vaishali and Srikant, along with the extended event management team, which contributed to the execution of the two-day programme.
