The internet giant Yahoo has reportedly introduced a new version of its mail service -Yahoo Mail. This move will make Yahoo’s mail service more consistent looking across all devices.
It is reportedly said that the revamped version of Yahoo’s mail service would now be available on all major platforms, including Apple iOS and Windows 8 apps, plus redesigned clients for Android and the Web. Also, all of the mobile apps and the Web client now have the same general features and layout of Yahoo mail.
It is important to note here that this is company’s first product overhaul under the leadership of new CEO Merissa Mayer. She is a former Google Inc executive, who took reins of Yahoo in her hands back in July 2012.
Presently, Yahoo is ranked amongst world's most popular websites. It has nearly 700 million monthly visitors.
Market watchers added, Yahoo is following Goggle and Microsoft, which also have recently revamped their e-mail services Gmail and Hotmail/Outlook.
