Digital India aims to transform India into a digitally empowered society and a knowledge economy. The digitization of all government records is an important objective of making India digital – the government tenders and procurement, budget reporting, and status monitoring need to be transparent, the data being made immediately available to the public via the Internet.
HDS works closely with various government departments to help drive efficiency internally. With the new Government’s focus on making India digital, HDS has tremendous opportunity to take the partnership with the Government to the next level by catering to its growing technology demands.
One of the major challenges in making the country fully digitized is the infrastructure required to support the creation of a digitized India. The focus should not only be on developing new digitization platforms, but also on creating a flexible infrastructure to help upgrade the existing infrastructure towards digitization.
