Eligible students purchasing a MacBook Air or Pro can select AirPods or Magic accessories, while those buying an iPad Air or Pro get Apple Pencil Pro or AirPods; exclusions apply to certain models like iPad mini, Mac mini, and refurbished products
Apple has kicked off its annual “Back to School” campaign in India, offering exclusive discounts and promotional bundles for students and educators. Running from June 17 to September 30, the offer is valid across Apple’s official retail stores, online store, and Apple Store app.
As part of the promotion, eligible students purchasing a new Mac or iPad for college can avail education pricing along with a choice of free accessories. The campaign is limited to one Mac and one iPad per customer, and only specific models qualify under the offer.
Students buying a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro can choose between AirPods (4th Gen with Active Noise Cancellation) or accessories like the Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, or Magic Trackpad. For those opting for an iPad Air or iPad Pro, Apple is offering either the new Apple Pencil Pro or AirPods 4 as a bonus. However, the offer excludes products such as the iPad mini, 10th-generation iPad, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro, and refurbished devices.
Apple empowers students with AI
Apple is positioning this promotion as a way to support students in their academic journey, highlighting the Mac and iPad as tools built with privacy, security, and productivity in mind. With the introduction of Apple Intelligence—its suite of AI-powered features—students can benefit from enhanced creative and writing tools like Image Playground, Genmoji, and Writing Tools.
The Mac lineup also brings user-friendly features like the Dock for quick access to apps, Spotlight for smart search, and intuitive trackpad gestures. The MacBook Air promises up to 18 hours of battery life, while the MacBook Pro can last up to 24 hours, making them suitable for all-day academic use. Features such as Stage Manager, Hot Corners, Quick Look, and Screenshots further boost productivity.
Apple's seamless ecosystem integration remains a standout advantage. Students can copy and paste content across devices using Universal Clipboard, transfer files via AirDrop, and connect their Mac to their iPhone’s internet through Instant Hotspot. They can also take calls on their Mac, use their iPad as a second screen via Sidecar, or view scanned documents instantly using Continuity Camera.
Pricing starts at ₹34,900 for the base iPad, ₹59,900 for the iPad Air, and ₹99,900 for the iPad Pro. MacBook Air starts at ₹99,900 for the 13-inch variant and ₹1,24,900 for the 15-inch. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are priced at ₹1,69,900 and ₹2,49,900 respectively.
