HCLSoftware and Sify Digital Services Limited (Sify) have announced a strategic partnership to launch a combined, fully managed Sovereign AI offering on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This collaboration provides Indian enterprises with a secure, end-to-end AI ecosystem designed to ensure total data residency, localized control, and strict regulatory compliance.
Under this partnership, Sify and HCLSoftware will deliver a unified, full-stack AI experience built on sovereign infrastructure and enterprise-grade platforms. Sify provides the Sovereign AI Foundation, which includes secure, compliant infrastructure, platform services, foundation models, and specialized blueprints. HCLSoftware complements this with its suite of India-owned, enterprise-ready sovereign business applications that seamlessly consume these AI services, creating a robust, integrated environment for private enterprises and public sector organizations.
The joint solution introduces a turnkey, subscription-based ‘Sovereign AI Foundation + Applications’ model. As an outcome-oriented managed service, it is specifically engineered to accelerate AI adoption across India. By keeping data within national borders and under local jurisdiction, the offering addresses the critical needs of regulated industries while providing the agility of modern AI tools.

The partnership focuses on delivering several high-impact, AI-infused solutions, a few are highlighted below:
· Sovereign Collaboration Platforms: Powered by HCL Domino, providing advanced communication tools enhanced with embedded Sovereign AI.
· Intelligent Infrastructure Operations: Leveraging HCL BigFix for seamless unified endpoint management, asset management, and information technology service management (ITSM), bolstered by agentic AI workflows and runbook automation.
· Application Security: Utilizing HCL AppScan to identify vulnerabilities early in the lifecycle, using AI for auto-code fixes and the implementation of best coding practices.
· Sovereign AI Access & Infrastructure: Providing secure access to high-performance AI services and a scalable foundation built for intensive AI workloads.
Looking ahead, the partners plan to launch additional solutions, including the HCL AION platform, enabling enterprises to build, deploy and manage the full AI lifecycle on Sify’s high-performance sovereign AI foundation.
