VECROS Unveils AI Autonomy Compute Platform for Drones and Robots - Jetcore, Designed in India
VECROS announced the commercial availability of Jetcore, its India-designed AI autonomy compute platform for drones and robotic systems operating in complex, GPS-denied environments.
One platform instead of many boards
Jetcore integrates high-performance AI compute, real-time flight and motion control, multi-sensor connectivity, power architecture, embedded firmware and VECROS' proprietary Jetpix autonomy stack into a single platform. Consolidating these subsystems reduces hardware complexity, integration effort and inter-board communication delays while improving sensor synchronisation and system reliability.
The platform enables advanced onboard AI workloads including visual-inertial odometry, GPS-denied localisation, SLAM, obstacle avoidance, multi-camera perception, sensor fusion, 3D mapping and autonomous mission execution—without continuous cloud connectivity or a pilot in the loop.
Prem Sai Besta, Founder & CEO, VECROS, said, “Jetcore represents a defining milestone in VECROS' journey—from building autonomous drone products to creating the foundational autonomy infrastructure for the robotics industry. We built it by solving real-world autonomy challenges in our own systems, validated across thousands of autonomous flight hours. Jetcore lets robotics developers focus on differentiated applications rather than rebuilding the underlying autonomy stack.”
From 5,000 flight hours to commercial availability
Following more than 5,000 autonomous flight hours and early commercial validation, VECROS is making Jetcore available to drone and robotics manufacturers across defence, warehousing, industrial inspection, infrastructure monitoring, mining, utilities, public safety and agriculture.
VECROS has also deployed JASPER, its autonomous warehouse inventory and inspection solution, in complex, fast-moving warehouse environments. The deployment has generated over 2,000 autonomous flight hours in GPS-denied conditions, building a repository of real-world autonomy data that will underpin the company's next-generation Physical AI capabilities — AI that perceives and acts in the physical world.
