Hisense’s latest premium television range combines RGB MiniLED technology, AI-driven picture optimisation, 3,500-nit peak brightness and a 180Hz refresh rate, targeting consumers seeking advanced viewing experiences across entertainment and gaming.
Hisense has expanded its premium television portfolio in India with the launch of the UR8S RGB MiniLED TV series, bringing its latest display technology to consumers across three popular screen sizes. The new range is designed to enhance colour reproduction, contrast, brightness and motion performance for movies, sports, gaming and everyday entertainment.
The UR8S series features Hisense’s RGB MiniLED technology, which the company says is designed to deliver richer colours and improved contrast while maintaining high brightness levels. The television is powered by the Hi-View AI Engine RGB, an AI-enabled processor that dynamically optimises colour, brightness and picture quality in real time.
The TVs also run on VIDAA, Hisense’s smart TV operating system, which is designed to provide faster navigation, app loading and access to streaming content.
180Hz refresh rate and 3,500-nit brightness
The UR8S series incorporates a native 180Hz refresh rate aimed at delivering smoother motion, particularly for fast-paced sports and gaming content. Hisense has also equipped the televisions with Anti-Reflection and Glare-Free technology to minimise distractions caused by ambient light.
The range offers peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits, allowing the display to reproduce details in both bright and dark portions of a scene. An AI RGB Light Sensor further adjusts picture settings according to surrounding lighting conditions.

Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, CEO, Hisense India, said, "Consumers today are no longer choosing televisions based solely on screen size but are investing in the overall viewing experience. Industry data shows demand continuing to shift towards 55-inch and larger screens as streaming, live sports and gaming redefine how families consume entertainment at home. As the origin of RGB MiniLED technology, Hisense first introduced this innovation through UX Series for ultra-large screen enthusiasts. With the launch of the UR8S Series, we are now bringing the same globally acclaimed RGB MiniLED experience to more consumers in popular screen sizes, reaffirming our commitment to making next-generation display innovation more accessible to Indian households."
Cinematic audio and smart features
For audio, the television series features a 2.1.2-channel multi-channel surround sound system. It supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode, providing support for a range of premium audio-visual formats and viewing modes.
The UR8S series includes hands-free voice control along with VIDAA Voice and Alexa Built-in. It also supports Google Home compatibility, Apple AirPlay and Apple Home integration. The platform provides access to a range of global and regional streaming services.
Hisense has complemented the technology with an ultra-slim, bezel-less design intended to integrate with contemporary interiors.
