The planned integration will allow Samsung TV users to seamlessly access Google Photos on the big screen, enabling immersive viewing, AI-powered creativity, and curated memories that make reliving personal moments more engaging and meaningful at home.
Samsung Electronics has announced that it is working with Google to bring Google Photos to Samsung TVs, aiming to create a more immersive and emotionally engaging way for users to relive their favorite moments. From family vacations and hobbies to everyday memories with loved ones, the integration is designed to transform televisions into shared spaces for rediscovering personal stories on a larger screen.
“Samsung TVs have always brought people together, and bringing Google Photos to the big screen makes that experience even more personal,” said Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Customer Experience Team at the Visual Display (VD) Business of Samsung Electronics. “Through this partnership, we help users rediscover and relive cherished moments by bringing to light the stories behind their photos — right from the comfort of their living room.”

A more meaningful way to enjoy photos
Google Photos already helps users organize, relive, and share memories across devices. With the planned TV integration, photos captured on smartphones will seamlessly appear on Samsung TVs in a larger, cinematic format. Users will be able to explore curated memories organized by people, places, and meaningful moments, extending how personal content is experienced within the home.
The integration will also expand photo-driven experiences connected to Samsung’s Vision AI Companion (VAC), enhancing how memories are surfaced and enjoyed throughout the day. Samsung envisions Google Photos becoming a natural part of the TV interface, appearing through features such as Daily+ and Daily Board. Setup is expected to be simple, requiring users to sign in with their Google Account to instantly access their photo libraries.
Three new ways to rediscover memories
The collaboration outlines three planned experiences. Memories, expected to launch exclusively on Samsung TVs in early 2026, will showcase curated stories based on people, locations, and meaningful moments, with a six-month exclusivity window. Create with AI, planned for later in 2026, will introduce themed templates built on Google DeepMind’s Nano Banana image generation and editing model, enabling creative transformations, art-style remixes, and short photo-to-video experiences. Personalized Results will allow users to view related photos as slideshows based on themes such as travel, nature, or specific locations.
A cinematic gallery experience at home
Together, Samsung and Google Photos aim to turn personal photo libraries into cinematic galleries at the heart of the home, enabling users to browse, create, and reminisce with ease.
“Google Photos is a home for people’s photos and videos, helping them organize and bring their memories to life,” said Shimrit Ben-Yair, Vice President, Google Photos and Google One. “We’re excited to bring Google Photos to Samsung TVs — helping people enjoy their favorite photos on a larger screen and reconnect with their memories in new ways.”
