AI's compute demands are the direct engine behind this data center boom. AI didn't just create demand for a new app category — it created demand for a fundamentally different, much more resource-intensive physical infrastructure layer, which is driving this segment's outsized growth. This is 1.7 trillion in Data Center IT spending needed by 2026 to build out AI infrastructure.

Security infrastructure has shifted from an IT necessity to a strategic business enabler as cyber threats grow more sophisticated.
