The OnePlus N6 enters the sub-₹25,000 smartphone segment with an 8,000mAh battery, 120Hz display, OxygenOS 16, military-grade durability, AI-powered camera tools, and up to 6GB RAM, with sales beginning on July 4.
OnePlus has launched the OnePlus N6 in India, positioning it as a feature-rich offering in the sub-₹25,000 smartphone segment. The device is headlined by an 8,000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge under light use conditions.
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch 120Hz display with up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, OxygenOS 16, and a design inspired by the company’s flagship devices. OnePlus said the N6 is aimed at users seeking long battery life, smooth performance, and premium design at an affordable price.
Focus on battery life and durability
According to OnePlus, the N6 supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging, taking the battery from 1% to 50% in 47 minutes. The device also includes Night Charging Mode, Bypass Charging for gaming and other intensive tasks, and 5W reverse charging to power accessories or other devices.
OnePlus said the battery is designed for long-term use, retaining over 80% of its original capacity after seven years of daily charging. The phone also carries MIL-STD-810H certification and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
Performance and AI features
The OnePlus N6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset and offers up to 6GB RAM, with support for Dynamic RAM expansion. A 5,300mm vapour chamber cooling system is included to maintain stable performance during gaming and multitasking.
For photography, the phone features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, with support for 1080p video recording at 60fps. The device also includes AI-powered editing tools such as AI Perfect Shot, AI Unblur, AI Eraser, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Recompose, AI Detail Boost, and AI Portrait Glow.
Pricing and availability
The OnePlus N6 starts at ₹19,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant during the Prime Day sale period from July 4-6, while the 6GB+128GB model will be available at a special price of ₹21,999. Regular effective prices after bank discounts are ₹20,999 and ₹22,999 respectively.
The smartphone will go on open sale from July 4, 2026, through OnePlus online channels, Amazon, OnePlus Experience Stores, and select retail outlets across India.
