Acer has introduced a new range of Android tablets alongside AR and AI-powered smart glasses, targeting professionals, creators and mobile users seeking enhanced productivity, immersive entertainment and intelligent on-the-go experiences.
Acer has expanded its consumer device portfolio with the launch of three new Android tablets under the Iconia Duo series, alongside a pair of wearable devices aimed at blending productivity, entertainment and artificial intelligence. The announcement introduces the Iconia Duo S14, Iconia Duo S12 and Iconia Duo D12 tablets, as well as the AR Vision GR0 augmented reality glasses and the GI0 AI smart glasses.
The new tablet lineup marks the debut of Acer’s 3:2 aspect ratio design, which the company says is intended to provide a balance between content consumption and productivity tasks. Powered by MediaTek processors, the devices offer up to 10 hours of battery life and support microSD card expansion of up to 1 TB. Acer is also offering optional accessories including an active stylus, keyboard and magnetic kickstand, enabling the tablets to serve as portable workstations for creators and professionals.
Premium tablets target creative professionals
Leading the lineup is the Iconia Duo S14, positioned as Acer’s flagship tablet for creative and professional workloads. The device features a 14.2-inch OLED display with 2.8K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 colour coverage. Running Android 16 and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, the tablet is designed to handle demanding multitasking, creative applications and AI-enabled workflows.
The S14 also includes DisplayPort input and output capabilities, dual USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, quad stereo speakers and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. Acer says these features allow the device to function both as a standalone productivity tablet and as a portable display solution.
The Iconia Duo S12 offers many of the same premium capabilities in a smaller 12.2-inch form factor. Equipped with a 2.8K OLED panel, anti-glare nano-texture glass and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, the tablet is aimed at professionals such as designers, engineers and business users who require mobility without compromising performance.
Meanwhile, the Iconia Duo D12 is designed to make the company’s productivity-focused tablet experience more accessible. Featuring a 12.2-inch display, 90 Hz refresh rate and MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the device targets users looking for a versatile tablet for everyday productivity and creative tasks.
Acer expands beyond the screen
Alongside the tablets, Acer introduced the AR Vision GR0, a lightweight pair of augmented reality glasses capable of creating a virtual viewing experience equivalent to a large-format display. Compatible with Android, iOS and Windows devices through a wired connection, the glasses support both 2D and 3D content and are intended for gaming, learning, entertainment and mobile work scenarios.
The company also unveiled the GI0 AI glasses, which integrate an AI assistant powered by Google Gemini. Designed for hands-free interaction, the glasses support voice commands, real-time translation, image analysis, photo capture and video recording. Connectivity is provided through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, while companion app support enables integration with Android and iOS devices.

Acer said the Iconia Duo S12 and Duo D12 tablets will begin shipping in North America in August 2026, followed by the premium Duo S14 in September. The AR Vision GR0 will start at $499.99 in North America, while the GI0 AI glasses will be available from $299.99.
