Actis Technology has unveiled gesture control solutions for corporate India. Gesture control is a technology that interprets human gestures via mathematical algorithms into commands and functions. Actis is also employing technologies like Kinect (Microsoft) to provide the solutions and are already in the process of completing some maiden installations.
Abhimanyu Gupta, Director - Actis Technologies, said, “It is widely anticipated that gesture controls will eventually replace the touch screen interface as we know it today. The technology already has its presence in the gaming industry, but the wide possibilities of gesture control commercially are still untapped. Indian businesses are rapidly adopting new technologies and we see huge potential for the technology in India especially in operations that deal with huge amount of data like software companies, stock exchanges, educational institutes, research laboratories, biotech firms, news & media house, security companies, etc.”
“Our presence in technologies like video-conferencing, unified communications, interactive training solutions, security surveillance systems among others gives us an edge in providing the gesture control solutions. We have received a tremendous response from our clients where installations are currently underway, making it one of the first implementations of the technology in India Inc,” Abhimanyu Gupta further added.
