The government of Andhra Pradesh is taking a bold step toward youth empowerment with the launch of the Naipunyam Portal, an AI-powered job and skills platform designed to benefit 20 lakh young people by 2029.
The portal brings together state, central and institutional databases to offer a one-stop interface for AI-assisted résumé building, real-time skill assessments, and immediate access to training and job opportunities. Users will experience features such as an AI interview simulator, job–chatbot guidance, and monthly job fairs across constituencies.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasised that this initiative should serve as a global benchmark for skilling, urging international collaboration and curriculum upgrades starting from school level.
By marrying AI capabilities with localized training and employment outreach, the Naipunyam Portal positions Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of India’s digital skilling transformation. The move not only addresses unemployment but also aims to develop a fully job-ready workforce for emerging sectors. With this platform, the state hopes to turn its youth demographic into its biggest competitive advantage.
