Ai+ expands Nova series with launch of Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G

The new smartphones target a wide range of Indian consumers, from first-time buyers to content creators, while introducing a community-driven launch approach and an open review program focused on transparency and consumer trust.

Ai+ Smartphone has expanded its Nova series portfolio with the unveiling of the Nova 2 Neo 5G and Nova 2 Pro 5G, strengthening its presence in India's competitive smartphone market with devices aimed at both entry-level and performance-focused users.

The company introduced the smartphones through an unconventional launch event titled “India’s Got Nova”, blending entertainment, audience engagement, live demonstrations, and product challenges. Hosted by comedian Samay Raina and technology expert Rajiv Makhni, the event sought to showcase the devices through real-world interactions rather than a traditional product presentation.

The launch follows Ai+ Smartphones’ recently announced Open Review Program, which invited reviewers, journalists, creators, and technology enthusiasts to test the devices before commercial availability. The initiative was conducted without embargoes or prescribed review guidelines, allowing participants to share independent feedback.

Nova 2 Neo targets value-conscious buyers

The Nova 2 Neo 5G is positioned as the entry-level offering in the series. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, the device features a 6.745-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 48MP Sony AI camera, and a 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.

Additional features include dual-SIM 5G connectivity, expandable storage up to 2TB, IP65-rated dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Android 16-based NxtQuantum OS.

Nova 2 Pro focuses on performance and content creation

The Nova 2 Pro 5G is aimed at creators and power users. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits brightness.

The smartphone features a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP front camera. It also includes customizable rear notification lights, stereo speakers, dual microphones, a cooling system, expandable storage up to 1TB, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Both smartphones run Android 16-based NxtQuantum OS and include the company’s NxtPrivacy Dashboard and AI Key customization features.

The Nova 2 Neo is priced at ₹12,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant and ₹13,999 for the 6GB+128GB model. The Nova 2 Pro starts at ₹14,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and ₹16,999 for the 8GB+128GB version, including a ₹1,000 bank offer. The devices will be available through Flipkart and select retail outlets.
