Alcatel-Lucent has announced its support in the successful closing of a US$97-million credit facility extended to Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS.
This credit facility, with a final maturity in January 2019, is backed by the German Export Credit Agency, Euler-Hermes and facilitated by the two Mandated Lead Arrangers, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and BNP Paribas.
The credit facility will be used to finance equipment purchases from Alcatel-Lucent for the deployment of MTS’s mobile networks in Russia
