Trend Micro has found a new leader for its India and SAARC operations after Niraj Kaushik’s (who is believed to have joined Oracle) exit. Amit Nath will now wear the hat of Country Manager, Trend Micro India and SAARC. He has been there in Trend Micro India and SAARC, assuming various roles in Value and Volume Business and even Channels.
Amit Nath, Country Manager – India and SAARC, Trend Micro, said, “According to a recent report by Gartner, despite a slowdown in the U.S., IT security spending is on the rise in Asia, especially in India. These are exciting times for the industry in the region. I am thrilled to be leading the operations of Trend Micro in India and SAARC at such a time.”
Amit has over 10 years of IT industry experience spread across sales, marketing, operations, programme management and management functions. Before joining Trend Micro, he worked with prestigious organizations like Canon, Headstrong and Dell Computers in different geographies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune.
