Bharat Takhtani Confirms Relationship with Meghna Lakhani

Two years after his separation from Bollywood actress Esha Deol, businessman Bharat Takhtani has confirmed his relationship with entrepreneur Meghna Lakhani Taljera. The couple made their romance public through affectionate photos from a European vacation, captioned with messages like “Welcome to my family” and “The journey starts here.”

Born in Spain, Meghna Lakhani has an impressive educational background. She studied at The Sixth Form College in Colchester, earned a Bachelor’s in Arts and Promotion from the University of the Arts London, and later completed an MBA at IE Business School, shaping her path toward a global career.

Meghna began her professional journey in aviation, working with Jet Airways and Emirates, before moving into business development roles at VFS Global. Her career trajectory soon shifted toward entrepreneurship, where she found her calling in sustainability-focused ventures.

She has since founded or co-founded several startups. These include Sukisimo (a Madrid-based sustainable fashion marketplace, 2018), MTL Worldwide (driving environmental change), Optas App (focused on consumer sustainability), and One Modern World (a UAE-based eco-friendly products and packaging consultancy founded in 2019). Meghna also leads sales at PVG OOKA. With more than 80,000 Instagram followers, she is a prominent advocate for sustainable living.

Bharat, who married Esha Deol in 2009 and officially separated in 2023, continues to co-parent their daughters Radhya and Miraya.
