Check Point Software Technologies has acquired three early-stage firms to deepen its capabilities in exposure management, AI agent protection and MSP operations, reinforcing its push toward platform consolidation and automation.
Cybersecurity giant Check Point Software Technologies has acquired three specialized startups—Cyclops, Cyata, and Rotate. These acquisitions are designed to consolidate Check Point’s lead in Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) and AI-native security.
The company said Tel Aviv–based Cyclops will enhance internal asset discovery across SaaS, cloud, endpoints and operational technology, helping organizations build an accurate inventory and prioritize real risk. Another Tel Aviv firm, Cyata, brings visibility into autonomous agents running both locally and in the cloud, alongside policy enforcement to restrict unauthorized behaviors.
Meanwhile, Silicon Valley–based Rotate strengthen
Check Point is positioning itself as the only vendor capable of offering a "full cycle" of CTEM—combining internal asset mapping with external visibility and automated remediation.
| Startup | Core Capability | Strategic Pillar |
| Cyclops | Internal Asset Discovery & Deduping | Exposure Management |
| Cyata | AI Agent Visibility & Enforcement | AI-Native Security |
| Rotate | Multi-tenant MSP Scalability | Workspace & MSP Strategy |
Chief Strategy Officer Roi Karo said the combination of internal and external asset visibility, risk prioritization and automated remediation gives the company differentiation in a market often criticized for alert fatigue and fragmented tooling.
Enterprises are rapidly deploying AI systems without standardized controls. Security leaders, facing chronic skills shortages, increasingly prefer platforms that integrate discovery, posture management and response.
By absorbing startups purpose-built for AI-era environments, Check Point aims to deliver end-to-end coverage while accelerating innovation cycles. Rather than measuring each acquisition separately, the firm says success will be judged by how effectively the additions strengthen its broader architecture and growth.
In short, Check Point is signaling urgency: AI is reshaping cybersecurity, and vendors must evolve just as quickly.
