Cyberoam has announced the launch of first-of-its-kind “NetGenie On-Cloud Management Service” (NCMS) for its NetGenie network security appliances. NCMS enables parents and small office owners to monitor and ensure security of their home and small office networks from anywhere, using the Internet.
Cyberoam NetGenie is available as a smart wireless router with family protection for home users and as a Unified Threat Management appliance for small office users. NetGenie ensures a safe and enjoyable Internet experience for home and small office users with its advanced Internet controls to manage access to websites and applications, security features like Firewall and Anti-Virus, support for 3G modem/USB broadband, and more, on a single appliance.
Security devices that can only be managed locally pose a challenge especially for travelling parents and SOHO owners, who are responsible for the security and productivity of online activities of their kids and employees. Lack of an appropriate solution leaves them either with no control over their network’s security or to let go of their security controls to someone else in their absence.
