On the occasion of Good Governance Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh unveiled the Rashtraparv website along with its mobile app. This digital initiative, developed by the Ministry of Defence, aims to modernize and simplify access to information about national celebrations such as Republic Day and Independence Day events.
The Rashtraparv platform is a one-stop solution for citizens, offering comprehensive details about these prestigious events. Users can access information on event organization, ticketing, seating arrangements, and live streaming of the ceremonies. The platform also features a robust system for managing tableaux proposals, ensuring a transparent and efficient selection process for the vibrant cultural displays that are an integral part of these celebrations.
"The website will facilitate access to information related to organisation of national events such as Republic Day, Beating Retreat ceremony, Independence Day, live streaming, purchase of tickets, provide information related to seating arrangements and route-maps of events," it said in a statement.

By leveraging this digital tool, the Ministry aims to enhance citizen participation, foster transparency, and promote greater engagement with the Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations. The Rashtraparv website and app represent a step forward in using technology to bring citizens closer to the spirit of national pride and unity.
This initiative aligns with the principles of Good Governance Day, showcasing the government’s commitment to innovation, accessibility, and efficient service delivery.
The website can be accessed at rashtraparv.Mod.Gov.In and the mobile app can be downloaded from the government app store (M-Seva), the ministry said.
