In the zeal to celebrate and showcase India’s visual beauty to the world, Google+ and the Ministry of Tourism (India) have come together to host a photography competition. For the competition, the Ministry of Tourism (India) has invited professionals, prosumers and amateur photographers from around the world to share their view of India with a 6-week long global photography competition on Google+.
The best pictures shared from around the world on Google+ will be nominated and shared on a special landing page on google.com.
Sandeep Menon, Director Marketing, Google India, said, We are very excited about this partnership with the Ministry of Tourism that invites people from across the world to share pictures that reflects the incredible kaleidoscope that is India. Google+ is the platform that will bring together and unite India lovers globally, allowing them share, showcase and view incredible photographic moments in this incredible contest that celebrates India.
Further, the Ministry of Tourism will select three international photographers and will invite them for a visit to India. Similar trips for select Indian photographers will also be organized each week.
