IDC has recognized five Asian telecom service providers for their business foresight at IDC's annual Asia-Pacific Telecom Summit, held in Singapore. The projects and the winners were selected by a panel of independent industry practitioners, and IDC Asia-Pacific Telecom and 4 Pillars’ Practice Leads.
The telecom market is undergoing major transformation. IDC believes that the telecom service provider of the future in 2020 will be radically different compared to what it is today, said Adrian Dominic Ho, Principal Analyst, Mobility Lead, IDC Asia-Pacific.
He added, These awards recognize telcos which are at the forefront of this transformation and are industry gold standards for the rest of the industry.
The TSPI Awards was established to assess how well-prepared the region’s telecom service providers are in competing and leading the future service provider marketplace and recognize how they have leveraged innovation to achieve specific business objectives, including driving competitive differentiation, launch new products and services, and gain access to new markets and segments.
