Intel (Customer offer)
2010-10-27Let's Celebrate - Let's Shop!
Festivals, anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions, all of them have one thing in common - togetherness and family bonding. The last quarter of the calendar year is the time which not only the industry but even the consumers look forward to. The reason is that the trail of festivals starting from October to December keeps the Indians busy. The shopping is kept for this time of the year, taking into consideration the fact that almost all big and small brands announce special festive schemes, discounts, freebies, exchange offers, etc. Also, vendors redesign the pricing to attract more and more customers. Not only this, keeping the festive mood in mind, vendors introduce schemes to motivate its channel partners also known as resellers. VARIndia tries to piece together what the IT industry has in store for not only the consumers but also its partners.
Intel India has launched a festive campaign in the East of India to celebrate Durga Puja and guide PC buyers to make smarter choices in their personal computer purchases. This campaign includes attractive gifts with every purchase of an Intel processor based personal computer from select Intel Channel Partner stores and ends on the 24th of October. The campaign is valid across West Bengal, Assam, Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar is aimed at educating and accelerating PC usage amongst first-time buyers of personal computers and will showcase a complete range of desktops and laptops. The festival promotion will be valid in 400 stores across East India and features attractive offers for consumers, including bumper prizes such as Home theatre systems and weekly lucky draw prizes such as an iPod. The bumper and weekly draw will be based on the purchase of PCs based on the new Intel Core processors. The campaign also offers an assured gift on the purchase of any Intel processor-based laptops and desktops.
A “Mobile Van” will also travel across West Bengal, making stops at important locations to showcase a wide range of personal computing devices for the consumers.
