ITI Limited is the premier telecom company and multi-unit central public sector undertaking in the telecommunications segment. As part of its diversification plans, ITI Limited is foraying into IoT business and has empanelled IoT vendors in various domains. 

To enter into this business vertical, ITI will leveraging its manufacturing infrastructure and expertise in implementing various smart solutions and will assemble and manufacture various IoT products. ITI will utilize this technology for developing various smart applications in verticals like Smart Metering, Smart Health, Smart Environment, Smart Surveillance, Smart Agriculture, Intelligent Transport & Smart Solutions etc.

It has also announced the expansion of its datacenter facility by adding 1000 additional racks in its existing set up in Bengaluru and setting up of a new datacenter of 200 racks capacity in its Naini (Allahabad, UP) plant. The new infrastructure will enable PSU Banks, Central & State Government undertakings, MNCs, corporates and large enterprises to have their data located within the country.
