In order to foster its commitment to bring innovation for users, Panasonic has announced the launch of its second smartphone, ELUGA A in India, in its globally renowned smartphone series “ELUGA”. The ELUGA series is known for its superior design, latest technology and unique user interface for enabling single hand operation.
ELUGA A has a 12.7cm (5) IPS FWGA (854x480) display, Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and runs on the powerful and power efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, featuring quad-core CPU, Qualcomm Adreno GPU and low-power display engine for beautiful visuals, and support for 1GB RAM. Snapdragon and Adreno are products of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated. The smartphone sports a single hand operative “Fit Home” user interface with features such as “Kwik Lock”, where the user can double tap the home screen to lock.
Based on a Qualcomm Reference Design by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., the ELUGA lineup offers users advanced features like Qualcomm Snapdragon Audio+ audio enhancement technology for rich 3D surround sound music, wide bass response and theater-quality audio; Qualcomm Snapdragon Voice+ voice enhancement technology for clearer conversations; Qualcomm Snapdragon BatteryGuru, a product of Qualcomm Connected Experiences, Inc., machine learning technology for extended battery life; and Qualcomm Quick Charge for up to 40% faster charging. The ELUGA A also features support for leading Indian languages that allows the user to browse the web, chat and navigate the phone menu in his or her local language.

The ELUGA A sporting 8MP autofocus camera along with 2000 mAh battery will be made available to Indian consumers from 15th August, 2014, at an introductory price of Rs.9,490.
