Safe Security has acquired Balbix in a move aimed at creating a single, AI-native platform for unified cyber risk and exposure management. The deal brings together Safe’s strength in cyber risk quantification and Balbix’s expertise in continuous threat and exposure management.
The combined company plans to accelerate its vision of CyberAGI, an agentic-AI system designed to help CISOs run security as a business function. CyberAGI will link vulnerabilities, control failures, and exposures directly to business impact, giving security leaders a real-time, quantified view of risk.
By unifying exposure data with financial and operational risk models, the platform will allow organizations to prioritize remediation based on measurable risk reduction rather than generic severity scores. This turns cyber programs into ROI-driven investments instead of pure cost centers.
CISOs are expected to evolve into broader enterprise risk leaders, armed with continuous risk dashboards via tools like the SAFE X app. With a single “living” source of truth, teams can coordinate security operations, governance, and board reporting from the same risk picture.
Ultimately, the Safe–Balbix integration aims to close the long-standing gap between technical security operations and business decision-making, enabling more autonomous, data-driven cyber risk management at scale.
