South Shore Hospital selects K7 Computing for Its Network Protection
K7 Enterprise Security solution has been selected by South Shore Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, USA to protect its network of workstations, laptops and servers from malware, hostile websites and other Internet-based threats after conducting an extensive test and review as per an announcement made by K7 Computing.
Jayaraman Kesavardhanan, CEO, K7 Computing, said, "K7 Enterprise Security is specifically designed to defend large-scale, widely dispersed networks commonly found within large organizations. We have purpose-built K7 Enterprise Security to defend today’s modern mobile workforce from the ever-increasing threats they can face on a daily basis. Whether the threat originates from a hostile website or an internally infected laptop, K7 Enterprise Security with its unique combination of proactive and reactive defences delivers to our customer’s holistic protection across the widest set of possible threat vectors."
"We switched to K7 Enterprise Security to improve our overall endpoint protection above and beyond traditional antivirus solutions provided by most other vendors. We evaluated five criteria: malware protection and cleaning, web content filtering, application control, mobility and ease of deployment and management. We worked with the K7 support engineers from the US office and the set-up and deployment was completed quickly and successfully," said Jim Ritchie, Director of Information Systems, South Shore Hospital.
The hospital believes that with its proactive and reactive defences, K7 Enterprise Security can beat traditional antivirus products and other singularly focussed network security solutions.
