
More than just an exhibition, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion acts as a vibrant platform to strengthen Taiwan-India ties across ICT, Smart Living, Healthcare, and advanced technologies, aligning with India’s rapidly evolving digital and industrial landscape
The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion officially opened its doors at the Taiwan Expo India 2025, held from September 25 to 27 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event, organized under the aegis of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, marks a significant step in deepening trade and technology collaboration between Taiwan and India.
The grand inauguration was led by James C.F. Huang, Chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and H.E. Dr. Mumin Chen, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC). Also in attendance were Indian lawmakers Sujeet Kumar (Rajya Sabha) and Rahul Kaswan (Lok Sabha), alongside special guest and Bollywood actress Esha Gupta, who added a glamorous touch to the ceremony.
Spotlight on innovation and partnership
Designed as more than a traditional exhibition, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion serves as a dynamic platform to foster bilateral ties in innovation, manufacturing, and digital development. With a focus on sectors such as ICT, Smart Living, Healthcare, Advanced Gadgets, and Industrial Applications, the pavilion represents Taiwan’s strategic interest in aligning with India’s fast-growing economy.
This year, 22 award-winning Taiwanese brands are participating, including global names like Advantech, MSI, Phison, and Transcend, as well as debutants such as Vinxper and MacroHi. Featured products range from AI-powered conferencing systems and gaming laptops to industrial connectivity solutions and eco-friendly personal care innovations.
Notable exhibits include Advantech’s Edge Intelligence System equipped with Intel’s 11th Gen processors, MSI’s Raider 18 HX AI Gaming Laptop, and Proscend’s 8-Port PoE Long Reach Switch tailored for AIoT connectivity. Vinxper's adjustable electric wine aerator also caught attention as a novel lifestyle product.
India–Taiwan ties strengthen amid investment prospects
According to a report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), India is fast becoming a preferred destination for Taiwanese investment, with projected inflows of up to $15 billion in areas such as electronics, EV infrastructure, and smart technologies.
Events like the Taiwan Expo continue to serve as key enablers in advancing this relationship, aligning Taiwan’s high-tech strengths with India’s ambitious development roadmap.
