The Attachmate Group, which recently acquired Novell, has appointed Sreehari Seetharamsastry as MD of its India Development Centre (IDC).
In this position, Sreehari will be responsible for all aspects of the IDC's product research and development activities. He will be directly reporting to Somesh Singh, GM, India Development Centre and VP - Engineering, NetIQ. Shreehari has been associated with Novell since 2008.
Somesh Singh said, "Sree is an accomplished professional with more than two decades of industry experience in design, development and management of software projects in the Telecom, Networking and Enterprise software arena. He has a dozen years of experience in planning and managing large software development projects and global delivery teams. His extensive experience will help strengthen and grow the India Development Centre. The India Development Centre is a critical part of The Attachmate Group's global growth plans. IDC is a centre of excellence for The Attachmate Group with several major products being developed in their entirety by IDC.
