Xerox India, a part of Xerox Corporation, demonstrated its technological strength with a wide range of revenue-generating applications, products and solutions at IPEX South Asia 09, one of the largest printing tradeshow exhibitions in Asia.

Xerox’s key message for the show “Real Business Live”, set the stage for attendees to learn how Xerox can help print providers to succeed as the economy improves, maximize business profitability and explore new growth opportunities with the right mix of innovation, proven hardware technology, software and services. Looking at the burgeoning demand for digital photo printing in India, Xerox has announced its partnership with Karizma, a leading digital imaging solutions provider to develop a robust joint go-to-market strategy that is aimed to redefine the way digital photo-lab printing is done.

At its booth, Xerox showcased industry’s broadest portfolio of digital presses, innovative applications and automated workflow solutions. In addition, revenue-generating customer applications in areas of marketing communication, personalized printing, book publishing, digital photo-printing and security printing were also showcased.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Mr Andrew Horne, Managing Director, Xerox India, said, “Xerox has been a pioneer in bringing innovative technology solutions to the Indian market to accelerate the growth of digital printing industry, projected to reach $177.3 million by 2012. We identified Real Business Live! for this year’s theme at IPEX 09, as we believe in constantly engaging with our partners and customers to address their business-specific requirements. The Real Business Live! Development tools that we showcased at the event have generated significant interest within our partners and customers.”

The key attractions among the Digital colour presses were the launch of two high-end digital presses: namely the Xerox iGen4 Digital Press and the Xerox DocuColor 7002. Xerox, along with its partner Karizma, had also set up a unique photo-lab lounge at the Xerox booth to showcase on-demand digital photo-printing applications for consumers as well as professional photographers.
