Software
HCLSoftware is introducing a strategic evolution of its HCL BigFix platform to deliver Secure Resilient Operations (SRO). This new operating model is focused on unifying IT and Security workflows onto a single platform with the singular goal of dramatically reducing enterprise risk, complexity, and operational cost.
The modern enterprise faces an unprecedented challenge defined by complexity. Organizations typically manage their endpoints with 4 to 14 separate tools, creating security silos and operational inefficiencies. This fragmented approach creates significant operational friction and security gaps, with unmanaged devices serving as the entry point for the vast majority of ransomware attacks. Compounding the issue, the time required for vulnerability remediation often stretches beyond 30 days, significantly increasing risk exposure against a backdrop of global cybercrime costs projected to reach $10.5 trillion annually by 2025.
“The time for siloed operations has passed. Our strategy is centered on enabling unified, proactive defense”, said Navin Sabharwal, Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager, HCLSoftware. “Our SaaS model, Agentic AI capabilities, and platform innovations are all working together to help customers lower risk, remove complexity, and operate securely at scale.”
Modernizing Security for a Mid-Market Reality
To meet the demands of a changing market, HCL BigFix has undergone a transformation to support organizations, particularly mid-size enterprises, which require platforms that are faster to deploy and easier to manage. The introduction of HCL BigFix SaaS Remediate reflects this shift toward a cloud-first model. By removing the need for heavy on-premise infrastructure, the platform enables organizations to reduce time-to-patch dramatically and adopt a flexible, subscription-based approach to enterprise security.
Evolving IT into an Autonomous, Always-On Operation
Complementing this evolution in security is a move toward intelligent, context-aware IT operations. HCL BigFix AEX (Agentic AI) brings this capability to life, enabling autonomous detection, impact-aware decisioning, and continuous learning across complex hybrid environments. By coordinating response across IT and security workflows, early adopters are already seeing measurable improvements, including up to an 88% increase in first-call resolution and significantly faster issue closure.
A Strengthened Platform That Makes Security and Operations Simpler, Faster, and More Resilient
Over the past year, HCL BigFix has strengthened its platform to help organizations secure and operate their hybrid environments with greater speed, intelligence, and consistency. These enhancements make it easier for teams to see what is happening across every endpoint, act faster, reduce manual effort, and maintain reliable business operations at scale.
Taken together, these advancements deliver on the core promise of Secure Resilient Operations: reducing cost, lowering risk, and eliminating operational complexity, all from a single, unified platform. These capabilities work in concert to deliver the outcomes customers need today: stronger security posture, greater operational continuity, reduced manual overhead, and the ability to run hybrid environments with confidence and consistency.
“This year marks a pivotal acceleration in our platform evolution”, added Kalyan Kumar, Chief Product Officer, HCLSoftware. “With BigFix SaaS Remediate, our converged UI, 10x scalability improvements, and the emergence of Agentic AI, we are delivering the automation and intelligence organizations need to reduce operational cost and achieve true Secure Resilient Operations.”
