CADYCE has introduced the CA-HXKVM, a USB HDMI KVM Extender Over Ethernet designed to support long-distance HDMI and USB signal transmission for enterprise and commercial AV environments. The solution enables 4K Ultra HD video, along with USB keyboard and mouse connectivity, to be extended over a single Ethernet cable for distances of up to 80 metres.
Aimed at professional deployments, the extender is suited for control rooms, corporate offices, security monitoring centres, digital signage, educational institutions, command centres and industrial environments where reliable remote system access and high-quality video transmission are critical.
DESIGNED FOR ENTERPRISE AV INFRASTRUCTURE
The CA-HXKVM supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, ensuring compatibility with modern 4K displays and protected digital content. It also enables users to control remotely located computers through USB keyboard and mouse connectivity, eliminating the need for direct physical access to systems.
A key feature is its Power-over-Cable (PoC) technology, which requires power at only one end—either the transmitter or receiver. This simplifies installation, reduces cabling requirements and offers greater flexibility for enterprise AV deployments.
The extender supports CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A and CAT7 Ethernet cables, delivering stable signal transmission while preserving video quality and USB performance across distances of up to 80 metres.
STRENGTHENING ENTERPRISE CONNECTIVITY PORTFOLIO
The compact and durable device supports USB 2.0 and is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux and other operating systems, allowing integration into diverse enterprise IT environments. It is also certified for CE, FCC, RoHS, UKCA and BIS compliance.
Each package includes a transmitter, receiver, 12V DC power adapter, 1.8-metre HDMI and USB KVM cable, and a user manual for deployment.
